Today we will be taking a look at the In Win Extreme Series B2 Stealth Bomber Case. Throw out the idea of another black boxy case and take a look at the sleek lines of this military inspired case. This case gives the form of function of a typical pc case but adds visual elements that remind you of the stealthy bomber it takes its name from. Additional features such as a motorized media bay cover, LED illumination for the media bays and customizing stickers make the case stand out in the market. Inside the case you'll find ample room for your mobo, power supply and numerous hard drives and media drives.

There has always been a tradeoff between cooling and fan/case noise. Typically the louder the fans, the better the cooling system does. No one wants a jet engine sitting next to their desks. When modding first came to the main stream there were many braggers boasting how loud their case was, granted the cooling performance of their highly overclocked systems did better than most. While modding is still taking place, the tradeoff between cooling and noise has diminished.
Mainstream manufactures such as Dell and HP have come up with ways to silence the computers they sell. They typically use a duct system to the rear exhaust fan with a large heat sink on the processor. This works pretty well, but other noises still emanate from the innards such as hard drive sounds as well as the occasional noisy fan.
CoolerMaster approaches the noise issue in the Sileo 500 in much of the same way that car/home audio enthusiasts do; by adding sound dampening material to the inside. The material's construction and shape traps the sound waves before they can escape the case, but does the material lead to an increase in temperatures in this mighty mid-tower? Read on to find out.

Thanks to our friends at ThermalTake we have some first look photos. Due to events unknown to us, the photos are a little late, but better late than never right? I do not have a whole lot of information on the case. Thermaltake says the case should be going into production in late summer or early fall. I have tried to put the photos in the order that I would have taken them. So here we go.
BMW and Thermaltake put their heads together and came up with an evolutionary case design. While it is pretty radical, I feel that this is the next stage of case design, no one can be sure what the future holds in store for case designs. |

What is it about computer cases that make them so personal? Is it the fact that you can customize them in any fashion that you wish? Or perhaps the case just happens to speak to that certain individual. Whatever the reason that one chooses one case over another is the reason why there are so many options available.
In continuation with their Storm line, CoolerMaster released the Scout. The Scout shares some features with the Sniper, but will cater to some other users. The Storm line of CoolerMaster cases targets gamers, specifically gamers who need portability and security. CoolerMaster continues the military or industrial look with the Scout, again similar to the Sniper. Once again CoolerMaster teamed up with cyber athletes for design ideas and feature implementation. |

CoolerMaster launched the Storm brand at CES 2009. While we were there, one of our meetings was with the CoolerMaster marketing team. The Storm series is built for gamers by gamers. CoolerMaster teamed up with cyber athletes and other eSport prodigies to bring The Storm Sniper to life.
This is the first case in the Storm series and the second, The Storm Scout, is soon to follow. CoolerMaster boasts excellent cooling capabilities with minimal noise with the design. The case is large enough to accommodate most hardware set ups including some water cooling with out being too intrusive. With its outward appearance resembling that of most military weapons, the sniper perhaps takes it''s namesake deservingly or is it just a shot in the dark.
